Steve
Baldwin is a professional freelance photographer based in San Francisco,
California. For over twenty-five years he has photographed unique and special
images from remote locations around the world. Adventure travel and exploration
are his specialty, yet the scope of the material he shoots and the services
he offers are extensive. He has documented events as diverse as the America’s
Cup to the first successful descent of the Brahamaputra River in North Eastern
India, to discovering surfing locations in the Galapagos Islands and Timor.
His clients include The Sierra Club, Mountain Travel-Sobek and East Cape
Game Traders.
Steve has an intuitive awareness and ability to capture images with superb composition, clarity, and emotionally expressive qualities of light. His extensive portfolio shows a broad array of photographic styles and artistic interpretations. He also offers a variety of custom studio and digital services to help satisfy your specific commercial or artistic needs.
Custom composite murals up to 8’ x 30’ consisting of thirty five separate images, are produced by Steve for clients such as the Best Western Hotels, Jung Design and Lucky Chance Corp. A number of these murals are on permanent display around San Francisco.
