HOW TO SEARCH
Our stock imagery is organized into categories. Select a category to review thumbnails of all the photos in that category. Click on a thumbnail to enlarge the photo, specify size and quantity and add the photo to your cart.

PRICING
Stock image prices vary depending on the size of the print and your planned usage. The fee you pay grants you a license to use that image as many times as you wish within the Use Category you select. All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars. Pricing categories are as follows:

Personal Use
Home and/or personal uses for on-screen decorations, screensavers, personal greeting cards and invitations, school projects and personal/artistic reference.

Printed Editorial Use
Printed editorial uses, including club or company newsletters, manuals and other internally distributed publications. This category also includes editorial usage in printed magazines, newspapers and books. Please contact us for a quote.

Printed Promotional Use
Printed promotional uses, including advertisements, printed product brochures, catalogs, and sales flyers. Other business uses could include packaging and product designs (T-shirts, mugs, buttons, greeting cards, etc.). Please contact us for a quote.

Electronic Use
Non-printed uses including electronic presentations, editorial uses, training and promotional disks, online or electronic publishing (including Internet Web pages), games, educational products, edutainment products, television and screensavers. You may not transfer or assign any license to a third party. You may not make copies, either digital or printed, of the image for the purpose of relicensing or reselling the image. We can deliver the files via CD-ROM or on-line download. Please contact us for a quote.

FORMAT & RESOLUTION OF ELECTRONIC IMAGES
Baldwin Custom Photography offers 1.1 megabyte and 4.5 megabyte (decompressed) images. Higher resolution and color transparencies are also available by contacting us.

1.1 megabyte images are 500 x 750 pixels. They are appropriate for most screen uses, and smaller print applications.

4.5 megabyte images are 1000 x 1500 pixels. They are appropriate for larger electronic uses and for print applications up to 3" x 5", at a 300 dpi printer output resolution.

Higer Resolution Digital Images (18 megabyte, 40 megabyte and 60 megabyte) and color transparencies are used for larger print applications. For example:
18 megabyte image files are 2000 x 3000 pixels, and they yield a 6" x 10" image.
40 megabyte images are 3000 x 4500 pixels, and they yield a 10" x 15" image.
60 megabyte images are 3800 x 5500 pixels, and they yield a 12" x 19" image.
Each example assumes a 300 dpi printer output resolution. The prices and licensing terms for these special services vary. For more information, contact us.

To minimize download times, images are stored in a universal compression file format known as JPEG. When stored on your hard drive, JPEG files will be significantly smaller than you may expect. To use, resize, crop, manipulate or save the image in another format, you will need image-processing software, such as Adobe PhotoShop. JPEG files may be viewed simply by opening them in your browser, or by using any image-viewing application.

HOW TO BUY
Our stock imagery is organized into the categories. Select a category to review thumbnails of all the photos in that category. Click on a thumbnail to enlarge the photo, specify size and quantity and add the photo to your cart. When finished click "Add to Basket"; you will then be shown the current contents of your shopping cart.

If you would like to order additionals photos, click the "Return to Shopping" and select your cateogy and photos as described above. When you have made your final selections hit "add to cart" and all the images in your shopping basket will appear onscreen. Review the contents of your cart. You may remove items or change the quantity of any items at this time--just hit the "recalculate" button once your have made your changes.

Click "Secure Checkout" when all the images that you want are in your Shopping Cart. Fill out the form completely so that we have your shipping information and can begin processing your order. Send a check or M.O. to:

Invoice
You will receive an invoice via email. The invoice page shows each image number you selected for purchase and its purchase price. The total price, including tax and shipping, appears at the bottom of the invoice.
